Hi Paul, glad the drugs is working for your biochemical problems. you are absolutely on the money, about the vit-D. Glad you do follow-up on the diagnostic tests part, to make sure your internal organs respond to the drugs and not causing any harm. Enjoy your provincial life! For sure it is less stress. Now you gain more years to your life.

Hi megre3 - Been there, done that, moved on.

Unfortunately, along with the metaphysical symtoms, I have diagnosed biochemical problems that, for now, require the meds. Once the body starts to pick up its production of the chemicals I'm lacking, I'll start weaning myself from the drugs. As to whether the drugs are good for me, so far they are. Diagnostic tests show biological improvements are being made without any detectable damage to my organs and physical processes. There are things that one cannot adequately obtain from food (e.g., Vitamin D).

Hey Paul,
Please read my notes above...RAW FOOD Diets are now being offered to facilities and people with depression including cancer facilities that are undergoing chemo theraphy...This facilities now have multiple vita-mix machines and feeding their patients with the RAW FOOF DIET...Just food for thoughts, you might want to try these avenues as you freeing tourself someday from all the drugs you are taking...drugs really not good for you...Of course retire to the Philippines is a good advise. There will still be a time that you will have some sort of panic attacks, then what? Please i urge you to just try, since these are all natural food that we already engest and feed our body.

Hi Paul - If the doctor has prescribed it - who are you to say no? I know that it's a tough pill to swallow, but you are just going to have to go for the Provincial life - for health's sake, of course!

Hey, Bob - Mental Health? I can identify with that!

Have been plagued with clinical depression, panic attacks and OCD (those are the top three) and have plenty of pills, therapies and routines. The best of them, however, is this prescription I received from the shrink and endorsed by the therapist: Retire to the Philippines :!:

Our last few trips there were tests having very positive results. Provincial life soothes my mind and soul unlike anything else.

Hi Bob, reading this health blog about your health problems, really prompt me to share with you some of the my menu to lower your sugar level: it is called vita-mix blender (if you don't have one, try other blender locally or you may just eat the salad-but it is not as good as you blend the food like greens and fruits).

Blend to juice up fruits with 1 kind of vegetable that is not bitter or tart:
 mangoestein 1
 mango 1/2
 1/2 banana
 papaya
 atis
 jack fruit
all kinds of fruits that are available in Davao... you may just kind of try mixing them according to your taste. if you can find dried dates also that would be really good source of natural mineral, put about 3 pieces of dates... please don't put any sugar or substitute, it beats the purpose. then add some green leafy vegetables (one's that is not a bitter taste) if Kale is available, that is really a good source of vit-A, B, C, and Calcium. Anything that is within the green family of leafy vegetables is great. Try eating RAW vegetable and fruits as much as possible. You can also make green salads, no white yellow vegetables. Here's a website that might be of help to you for your personal research... http://www.rawfamily.com by Dr. Boutenko.

I would like to share this story with you and hope i could help make changes in your life as well...First, i became a raw vegetarian, though i still eat fish and eggs, but no dairy, cheeses or meat... i met this gal named Jesse, at a health food store, she was in her whooping 650lbs... To make the story short, after 6 months when i went back to visit the grocery store again, i met Jesse...To my surprise, i could not hardly recognized her, but her features still there when i first met her, and i vividly remember her eyes, but wasn't sure. When she approaches me and told me who she was, i was so flabagast and could not believe my eyes to see her appearance....because she had lost a lot..lots..of her weight off...she is now down to 160lbs. She told me that she did stick to the Raw diet and in 6 months, she lost 490lbs and healthy (of course there are some foods that need some light cooking, like sweet potatoes or camote)...Jesse has been given a clean bill of health by her doctor...Now she is reaching out to people who has the same health problems as she is...to curve their wrong eating habits with the wrong diets.

I hope this would be your guide to healthy living...I'll see you and Feyma this coming summer, will call your cell phone, just to follow up with you! You have such beautiful family...keep your health in proactive way for your sake and your wonderful family...Keep up the good work!
