I married with a filipino in UAE, write now we are residing in Dubai, Just i want to know is there are any possibilities to get the dual citizenship of phillipines or multiple entry visa to phillipines? I am an indian citizen my wife is still a citizen of Philippines.Hello Raghavan and thank you for writing. I am sorry to say, but you do not qualify for Dual Citizenship in the Philippines. Unfortunately, the Philippines only allows Dual Citizenship for natural born Filipinos. Foreigners like you and I cannot be Dual Citizens in the Philippines, even if our countries allow for it. And, even on that end… India does not allow for Dual Citizenship either, so you are barred from it on both ends. That said, though, you still have options. Because you are married to a Philippine Citizen, you are entitled to a 13(a) Resident Visa here, which will allow you to live here for as long as you want without ever having to leave the Philippines unless you want to. In fact, you can come and go from the country as you please with a 13(a) Visa. To apply for a 13(a) Visa, you should go to the Philippine Embassy where you live in Dubai, or you can do it in your homeland of India, or even in the Philippines. Just ask for an application for a 13(a) Visa. The requirements are very simple. Good luck to you, Raghavan!
Today, I got an e-mail from Raghavan. Here is what Raghavan had to say:
