Hi Bob, So, If my wife becomes a US citizen, she can then go back to the Philippines and apply for dual citizenship. Does this give her all the rights and priviliges as a regular filipino citizen? i.e. voting rights, property rights? Here is Bob’s answer:
Hi Hudson – The answer to all of your questions is ‘yes’. Only one thing to change… she doesn’t have to come back to the Philippines to get her dual citizenship, she only needs to apply for it at the Embassy or Consulate that serves the area where you live. After that, she has all of the rights and privileges of any other Philippine Citizen.Thank you, Hudson for visiting the site, and good luck to you and your wife.
