Dear Bob, My case is much the same with John. I’m planning to convert to Singapore citizenship from a Philippine Citizenship but this requires me renouncing my PH citizenship. If I renounce my current citizenship(PH), and apply in the Philippines for retention of Filipino citizenship, do you think it will be ok? Coz no matter what happen I still want to go back to Philippines in the end. And since Singapore doesn’t allow to have a dual citizenship, how will I present my passport in the immigrationso when I enter Singapore there won’t be any problem when I stay in PH for quite some time.Thank you. And here is Bob’s response to Joy:
Hi Joy – If Singapore does not allow Dual Citizenship, then you need to choose which you want, Singaporean or Philippine Citizenship. You cannot have both.Thank you for visiting, Joy.
